Viennese Hot Chocolate
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups freshly brewed strong coffee or espresso
- Combine the sugar and cocoa powder in a medium saucepan.
- Pour about half cup or enough milk to moisten the dry mixture, while stirring constantly.
- When well blended, whisk in the remaining milk and the coffee.
- Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture steams, do not boil.
- Pour and serve.
