Monkey Gland Steak Recipe

The name comes from its bold, tangy monkey gland sauce, a South African blend of tomato, fruit chutney and Worcestershire; there is no actual gland in it.

Frying oil
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- In a hot grill pan, add oil and cook your steak until your desired doneness and set aside to rest while we prepare the sauce.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet and sauté onions and garlic until tender.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the onion and garlic, toss and simmer for 10 minutes.
- When thickened, spoon the simmering sauce over the steaks and serve with rice.
