INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 cups

    uncooked white rice

  • 2 Tbsp

    oil

  • 2 cups

     chicken broth

  • 1 cup

    chunky salsa

  • 2 Tbsp

    chopped onion

INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
    2. Stir in onion, and cook it until tender (for about 5 minutes).
    3. Mix rice into the pan with onions, stirring often.
    4. When rice starts to get brown, then stir in the chicken broth and salsa.
    5. Reduce the heat.
    6. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.
    7. It's ready to be served.
