    basmati rice

  • 1.75 cups

    water

  • 1 tsp

    cumin seeds

  • 0.25 cup

    frozen green peas

INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
    2. Add rice and stir.
    3. Reduce heat then cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.
    4. Stir in peas and cumin when rice is cooked, and take it off the heat.
    5. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes then serve.
