Chicken Shawerma
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 8 chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp mixed spices
  • 1/4 ground cardamom
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  1. Slice chicken and marinate with oil, spices, vinegar, ground cardamom, salt and pepper and yogurt for 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. Place the marinated chicken with the marinade in an oven tray, cover and bake for about 30 minutes in a hot oven, and turn it once.
  3. Uncover the tray and place it back in the oven for about 5 more minutes, or until the chicken is cooked well.
  4. To make it healthier, pour out all the fat.
  5. Serve the dish with sliced tomatoes, chopped parsley, and onions in pita bread.
