INGREDENTS
- 355g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 1⁄2 tsp salt
- 3⁄4 tsp sugar
- 175 -200 ml blood temperature water
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, sift the flour then add the yeast and the salt.
Step 2
Dissolve the sugar in half the water then add it to the flour mixture.
Step 3
Gradually add the remaining water while mixing until the dough comes together and is sticky. You may not need to use the whole amount of water.
Step 4
Add in the olive oil, and with your hands or your stand mixer, knead it until silky smooth.
Step 5
Lightly cover the dough in oil and place into a deep bowl.
Step 6
Cover with stretch film and place it in a warm place to ferment for 2 hours.
Step 7
Flour your work surface and tip the dough and cut into 12 equal pieces.
Step 8
Sprinkle flour on each piece and leave the dough to rest, covered, for 10-15 minutes.
Step 9
Preheat the oven and roll each piece into a 6in. circle.
Step 10
Add the topping of your choice and bake for 7-10 minutes.
