tbsps tomato paste
tbsp olive oil
grams organic chopped tomatoes
tsp crushed garlic
tsp red chilli pepper (optional)
tsp fresh basil, chopped (you can sub with 1 tsp dried basil)
tsp black pepper
dash of salt
tsp red chilli pepper (optional)
tsp dried oregano
1. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan.
2. Add the tomatoes and let them simmer for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the garlic, the basil, the oregano, the red and black peppers and salt.
4. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
5. Simmer for 15 minutes once it comes to a boil.
6. It should have thickened slightly by this time.
7. Mix in the tomato puree.
8. You have to leave to cool for at least 20 minutes before using on your pizza.
