Chicken Shawerma



  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 8 chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp mixed spices
  • 1/4 ground cardamom
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1/4 cup yogurt


Step 1

Slice chicken and marinate with oil, spices, vinegar, ground cardamom, salt and pepper and yogurt for 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

Step 2

Place the marinated chicken with the marinade in an oven tray, cover and bake for about 30 minutes in a hot oven, and turn it once.

Step 3

Uncover the tray and place it back in the oven for about 5 more minutes, or until the chicken is cooked well.

Step 4

To make it healthier, pour out all the fat.

Step 5

Serve the dish with sliced tomatoes, chopped parsley, and onions in pita bread.
